Comments!

Positive comments are rolling in for the EVT’s awesome article on Ron Paul:

1. Very nice article. Most surprisingly are staying pretty neutral, or better positive. There are few smear campaigns still within a few blogs, but over all it has been pretty good to Dr. Paul. Let’s hope he wins! Don’t forget his teaparty07

2. Nice job! I think you are correct. The MSM and the major players have not started to really attack Ron Paul. He is being treated now as a “man bites dog” story during a so far long (VERY VERY LOOOONG) and boring campaign for the Presidency. A few candidates have attacked him but mainly as a foil for their own purposes. His ideas are getting out. He is getting money. The mean, vicious attacks will begin if it looks like he will challenge the leading Republican for the nomination. The gloves will really come off if he wins and looks like he can challenge Hillary. The MSM will have their pick of things to attack him on because of his multitude of proposed changes to the status quo. Ron Paul is challenging every shibboleth of modern society, most especially their idea of a flexible active Constitution! They will have fun but the culture will learn. Interesting times ahead of we are successful in supporting Ron Paul.

3. Indeed, the Internet is what is different now vs. the Goldwater campaign. If Paul wins the nomination the mainstream media will again do everything they can to smear him and help the democrat nominee win, but this time it will not work because of the internet. The internet media cannot be controlled by the establishment. Americans nationwide will have access, for the first time, to a ’second opinion’ thanks to the internet media. As such, the establishment MSM will be exposed as trying to control the outcome of the election (this is already happening) and Ron Paul could very well win the presidency.

4. This is EXACTLY on target. I have considered myself a Goldwater Republican since I first read about Goldwater and what he stood for. I get teary eyed when I listen to Reagans speech “a time for choosing” endorsing Reagan in 1964. That to me is what conservatism is and we, the fiscal conservatives have been ignored since 1964. So much attention is paid to the religious right, that the other right, the fiscal one, has been completely ignored. We want our party back, and if its going to happen, now is the time.

5. I’m very grateful to read an article that does not disparrage Dr. Paul. I’ll admit the man does not do well in soundbites, but if you take the time to listen to or even read his speeches, he’s awsome! One little difference between I’m very grateful to read an article that does not disparage Dr. Paul. I’ll admit the man does not do well in soundbites, but if you take the time to listen to or even read his speeches, he’s awesome! One little difference between Goldwater and Ron Paul… I don’t think the MSM has as much influence today with the voters as they did then. Sure, they’ll attack him, but the difference is that Ron Paul supporters know him too well to believe anything put out by the MSM. I generally just read and then ignore articles that try to smear him. I suspect others do the same. Thanks again for the article.

6. Great article! Thank you! Looks like folks are finally realizing that a ‘caring big federal government’ in reality turns out to be the opposite, although perhaps not intentionally so. The millions of folks that make up the poor and the middle class eventually get left behind by those few elected officials who pay attention to the lobbyist who represent huge special interests.
